The Nike Waffle Racer has seen interest from many designers in recent years, and returns this Holiday Season in a modernized approach. The Waffle Racer 2.0 includes a synthetic ripstop that adds grid textures along the entire base, while the overlays on top make use of the suede. The toe caps and heel wrap are also made with suede in a lilac-like 'Ghost' colorway while the eye stay utilizes a different approach by extending passed the ankle. Other details include a bright yellow taping that brings some contrast while Swooshes are outlined in a bold dark brown. Finishing off the retro-styled runner is a thick gum sole.
